What are you listening to?

I'd appreciate it more if the Beatles didn't come from a time before Owen was born But yes, the Beatles provided something special to the musical world.

You don't have to be from the time music was made to appreciate it. Sure, it helps (e.g. context), but it's not neccessary.

Listening to Speechless medley by Lady Gaga and Elton John, but about to change to Mowgli's Road by Marina and the Diamonds.

You Can't Win - Michael Jackson

It's from the film version of the musical The Wiz, which I didn't know was a film until about 6 months ago and which I didn't know had Michael Jackson until a few months ago. Ease On Down The Road is also in there (both songs are on Michael Jackson's Ultimate Collection).

In addition to The Final Frontier (Album of the millennium) I've also been listening to Apocalyptica's new album - The 7th Symphony

I've gotten into these and fellow Chiptunes band Anamanaguchi (who I first discovered when I got Bit Trip Runner), well, because 8-bit music is brilliantly nostalgic.

I'm not usually into songs like this, but I just love it. The video's quite good too, especially the crying bit.

The official one, haven't watched the lyric one yet. I like the official one, although my favourite music video of the year out of ones I've seen (which is limited) is either Oh No! by Marina and the Diamonds or Stone Cold Sober by Paloma Faith.

Speaking of which, listening to Georgia by Cee Lo Green. It's on his newest EP, and it's good.

Forget You - X Factor Version. Of course, I prefer Fuck You by Cee Lo Green, but this version is good, as is their version of Telephone.
