Modern Warfare 2
This. Game. Is. Awesome.
If the epic campaign mode doesn't fully get you then the brilliant and refined online gameplay will.
As a bonus, It's full of British awesomeness as well.
Who has it? Would anyone like a game online? We could do tournaments if there's enough people.

Re: Modern Warfare 2
I like it.
It's a horrible shame with XBL part is full of horrible, camping, annoying, stupid, twats, who use the most obvious gun and don't know how to play the game without ANNOYING ANYONE <
Rant Over.
Yeah, so that's why I moved back to WaW, no campers, and it's not a challenge because the majority are 12 year olds who's mother won't LET them get MW2. But, it's a more enjoyable experience to be honest.

Re: Modern Warfare 2
Overhyped game of last century. Story full of plot holes. Same story is completely unbelievable after the excellent one from CoD4. Online has practically no changes outside of different weapons/perks/etc.
Now that I've shot the game down, I now say it's still good, just ludicrously overhyped to the point where I become more cynical than usual when discussing it XD

Re: Modern Warfare 2
I think you're the only person I know that would even say that XD I managed to get rid of my World at war on the Wii, because I suck at it (CONOR can confirm that) and I wasn't ever going to be using it again anyway. Paid £20 and sold for £20 so I just saw it as a long rental ^_^
I feel guilty for the person that bought it from me, although he does enjoy it so..

Re: Modern Warfare 2
Yeah, well, my favourite CoD, is WaW. Although the majority of the public liked Modern Warfare more than Treyarch's attempts. I just liked the maps and the guns better generally.
But, I did buy WaW before CoD4, because I got my Xbox and the time of WaW, so I guess if I had 4 first, my mind set would be different,
I don't go on MW2 much, haven't even prestiged.

Re: Modern Warfare 2
I remember when I wanted world at war so bad, I still think the Wii version was pretty good considering. Ah well, maybe i'll pick this up when I decide on my 360 or PS3..
Re: Modern Warfare 2
what's wrong with the story?
the online mode has loads of changes. Insead of 3 default killstreak rewards you can choose from 15! There's a better perk system (with a pro version of each perk that you can earn), the weapon classes seem more organised, better weapons and the callsign is also great with a personalised title and emblem. There's loads of little rewards that can earn you new weapons/attachments/perks.
Just because it was hyped a lot doesn't mean it doesn't deserve it. I think it does.
@ Darren - PS3 is the best choice but I can talk about that later

Re: Modern Warfare 2
Admittedley, the story is horribly short. I completed it on Hardened in 3 hours! o_o
Re: Modern Warfare 2
I heard a lot about the story length, it was a problem for people who bought it in 2009, but I think the online will sell it, that's where the major fun is
Re: Modern Warfare 2
That's the thing, it's not fun of me any more , it's why I reverted back to good ole' Waw ^_^
Re: Modern Warfare 2
My first playthrough on MW2 was on Veteran. I finished the game under 7hrs. I'm yet to go back and pick up the easy trophies such as collecting the intel items. I wouldn't mind getting spec-ops done either.
Its a great game but I'm not playing it as much because of other games and of course MAG. MAG is simply brilliant! I'm singing its praises as it brings people together to work as a team than just running around abusing each other like in MW2.

Re: Modern Warfare 2
I love CoD, Play it online a fair bit.
Currently only Lv 36, Using the M4A1 and the newly discovered Spas-12 (I have a thing for Shotguns, but didn't realise this ones true potential)
