Halo Reach Empty Halo Reach

Post by Wido Wed Sep 01, 2010 12:05 pm

Surprised there isn't a thread about this already. Unless there is, if so then forward this or merge them together.

So, Halo Reach. Last game from Bungie before moving onto new projects. Who is getting Halo Reach and which verison?

I'm getting the Limited Edition as I can't really see paying out nearly £100 for the Legendary Edition for a Statue of the Noble Six team to be of any benefit. However, if you are into that kind of thing then go for it, or in other words, whatever floats your boat.

I seriously cannot wait to get Halo Reach. Probably the second most anticipated game I have waited for this year. Number 1 has to be Red Dead Redemption, as I'm mad on the west, such as cowboys. Your childhood never leaves you. >_>

I can't wait to use the new Forge, and of course the new Firefight. I'm sure the majority of you here will get it, which will mean some superb gaming nights plus very laughable as well. I can't see myself rushing Reach, but me saying that will most definitely backfire on me. I'll most probably finish it without even realizing that I am near the end of the game till the last minute.

Cory wants this game so bad! I've pre-ordered the Legendary Edition. Why? I have money, and I apparently like to waste it. I'll be doing a review for the site shortly after its release, so look for that Wink

Good chance i'll be getting this, but it won't be any special edition version of the game, just the standard.

I hope it comes with a 48hr code trial or something. I'll be getting the Limited Edition version of the game. If that comes with a 48hr code, its all yours Darren.

I'm getting pumped for this. G4TV have hands on the multiplayer and Forge. So head to G4TV if you fancy having a watch.

Also, the weekend after Reach releases is a Free-Multiplayer weekend for all, convenient timing don't you think? Obviously Microsoft trying to get some Gold Subscriptions out of it by the assistance of Reach Wink

Very Happy Did not know this. I'm alright till June when my Gold expires. Shall be getting another 13 months next year in the sales if the price has been reduced.

I'm really am looking forward to this. I thought RDR was the most anticipated game that I have waited for this year. Well, apparently not now. I've got all current Halo games, and will have them all when Reach comes out.

I'm going try and get Halo 3 done on Legendary and Halo Wars done on Legendardy before Halo Reach arrives. One hell of a task, but worth doing. Though I doubt I will do it, because next Friday I have my theory test. I'm pretty confident on that, just get my awareness skills a bit sharper on the hazard & perception, but that can be saved for another discussion/conversation at another time.

Who else is getting pumped for this game?

Really am enjoying this game so far from what I have played. I'm guess the majority on here who have got it is miles ahead of me lol.

I got my Legendary Edition yesterday from ShopTo, beat the campaign on Normal (and it's an EXCELLENT campaign), done a tiny bit of forging, custom games with people here, a bit of firefight and been doing some matchmaking today. Got an awesome double kill with 1 sniper shot Very Happy

Let me see... Here's my view on Reach.

I decided to install the original Halo Combat Evolved instead of shell out for it, on my Mac too.

That about sums things up.

I do like these challenges. Obviously a quick way of earning credits and boosting your rank. Just wish they were more of them and offered more credits.
