Currently we're only looking for one mod. This topic will be open for a several days until we shut it, once we do we'll (Me and Ghost) begin talking to all of the applicants. Asking why they want the position, previous moderation experiences and other things like that. Me and Ghost will then discuss with each other who we think is best for position. We'll then tell them, and announce it here.
Not sure how long the process will last entirely, we want it to happen quite quickly, but not so quickly we'll have a mod by Sunday Evening! I'd say by the end of next week (Say, next Saturday or Sunday) would be a good indication of when we'll announce it.

I feel that I should provide some of my credentials, rather than merely making a stated application. So...

Statement: A highly motivated and committed forum-goer experienced in moderation techniques and beyond, with additional qualifications to note.

Experience:
- 1 year of staffing, moderation and administration experience on an SMF based forum
- A further year of experience on a separate SMF based forum.
- Experience using phpBB and mySQL based forums
- A Level in Computing
- Oracle Internet Academy qualification for SQL database design and manipulation.
- Undertaking degree course in IT Management for Business (Pending - September)

I mean, I may not have an epic A-Level, but I've had a fair amount of experience which I won't go into unless requested to.

I think I'm quite diplomatic, and I'm not really involved when past arguments have risen. I have a good knowledge in Sony and Nintendo gaming, and a very strong knowledge in Microsoft and PC gaming, as I play World Of Warcraft in my spare time ^_^

No qualms if I'm not a mod, never expected to be picked.

I'll do it, never really been given the chance to shine anywhere else, plus I have a lot of free time and my own laptop.

Plus, I've ran my own forum and website before, it went under, but that was due to Nillix going Uni. A webcomic site without comics is a tad pointless.

I had Mod experience on SS which you lot are aware of.

I shall apply. I have a very strong sense of right and wrong, and a strong sense of duty to maintain order and enforce the rules. Of course you'll still want to talk to me and the rest of the people, you can't just pick a guy based on one sentence. Unless he's Batman, of course.

Just a quick update for everyone:

Me and Ghost have started 'interviewing' everyone. We're doing this on Skype but we'll also do so on MSN if that's easier. The applications have to be done by tomorrow evening, at 6pm. It would be a great help if people can get on Skype or MSN the next couple of days. Making sure you've added me or Ghost (My Username on Skype is Dunncor, like it is here ). My MSN is dunncor@hotmail.com (Shocker!)

Once we've spoken to everyone me and Ghost will discuss it a bit. If all goes to plan, around Monday or Tuesday we would have chosen who the Mod will be.

Thing is, I'm not going to be able to get online outside of now till Monday, does this put me out of the running?

No. We wont announce the new Moderator until we've spoken to everyone. Regardless of how long we have to wait to speak to them. (Unless it's literally... weeks)

As you can read from the Announcements bar thingy, Applications are closed and we will continue interviews on Skype and MSN.

Just a quick Update.

All interviews have been completed, myself and Ghost have been discussing this far to much. Unable to reach a stable agreement. We can bring it down to 2 people however. No names at this moment in time. But tomorrow, we should have decided. We hope. ^_^
