MSP (Microsoft Points) really worth for how much they cost?
I recently brought 500 MSP off XBL to get Dead Rising 2: Case 0. < Really recommend that. Great bundle of joy.
The prices for MSP varies. Of course you can buy 1200, 2100 to 4200 which pretty much costs upto £40 probably more. Are they really worth on how much they are? Of course you can get arcade games and downloadable content for certain games on your shelf, but is it value for money?

I personally think that Xbox products in general are severely overpriced, but you can get some good value for money.

I think MS points are perfect value, however too many games are placed at 1200 MS points when they're not worth more than 800. I really like the MS Point pricing system though, minus being left over with silly amounts. One of the only good things about MS Pricing

What's wrong with pounds sterling like PSN, at least you know without going thru a conversion process, how much you're paying for a game.

There is a flaw with the PSN to add credit or money to your account. You can only add in strict amounts to what the PSN allow you. Such as:
£5
£10
£15
£20
£25 and etc.
Say there is only a game I want which is half price or on 70% discount or something say £1.99 < also DLC which maybe priced at that. I have to put in £5 which I don't want too. I rather just pay the exact amount then adding £5 into wallet on the PSN.
With the MSP there is some beneficial side to it. I think the PSN should adopt such idea or just change what they got currently, so you can put in how much you would like.

Lol, I haven't been on my PS3 for ages. I blame my Xbox. Since I got my Xbox, the PS3 hasn't hardly been turned on for gaming purposes. Just films. I'm scared to sign into PSN. I'm thinking there is going to be a huge update to download and it will bore the knackers off me.
Re: MSP (Microsoft Points) really worth for how much they cost?
Apart from a bit of Move, the PS3 only gets used for streaming my downloaded TV shows lol

Hmmmm. With recent news of Bungie announcing the Noble Map Pack for Reach. 800 MSP for 3 maps and added achievements... Is that worth it? You compare 800 MSP to other games such as Battlefield: Bad Company 2. They have a new mode and maps.
Re: MSP (Microsoft Points) really worth for how much they cost?
I for one cant wait for the Map Packs for Reach! The Halo 3 DLC maps were good and I'm expecting the Reach maps to be better! Would offer more rotation in Multiplayer instead of playing the same maps over and over and over and over again

I think that is reasonable IMO. I shall be buying them.

Regardless of me saying is it worth it. I shall be getting the map pack for Reach.

Well in the real world it would be surely illegal what MS are doing with their system.
I mean there is always going to be left over points and the only way you can get rid of them is buying silly rubbish avatar stuff you don't want.
I can't beleve it costs 80p to buy an imaginary Forza jacket for your avatar!!!!!

Re: MSP (Microsoft Points) really worth for how much they cost?
On my Playstation 3 I have like 3p left in my PSN Wallet.
Prices shouldnt be £7.99 etc
What the hell do I do with that 3 pence?
Getting back to Microsoft. With Xbox Rewards they give you 20 Microsoft Points per month for doing a survey and tbh it would be better being higher.
