Martyn, you were desperate to get me to join Twitter 6 months ago. What changed? Did you get twittered inappropriately by a group of Barvarian twitards?

Anyway, I never joined twitter, because when people were trying to sell the concept to me it sounded godawful. Obviously it's become very popular, but all fads are popular at some point, and I'm normally right when I call something a fad.

Bebo: I only got that so I could spy on people. The place is long dead anyway, it was only for youth yet to discover what a good website actually was. Piss poor design was prevalent.

Myspace: I'm not a band, that should automatcally rule out my need for it. Next.

Facebook: I took ages to actually sign up, because the concept seemed - and still seems - fadish. I only use one single app, very rarely join groups, and hardly really do anything other than make the odd post. It's more ofa hub for me to keep track of who I actually know than anything else. I should have put "Twittered in inappropriate places", that would have been more innuendous. Ah well.

If anyone can get me to join Twitter then they're rather something else. I'm stubborn as a mule when it comes to accepting something I don't immediately see the appeal of.

Sorry to hear Cat, lost my first to kidney failure, tho it was caused by being hit by a car ;( took a couple of weeks for him to pass

Aww, i'm really sorry to hear about your Cat, you grow attached to your pets. I've had a few budgies that have died, I was really devastated when Joey died, I was only ten when we got him. I've grown attached to my new one too, I taught it to wolf whistle, and it makes loads of silly noises XD

My Twitter's NotNamedJohn, of course. I don't have Facebook or anything like that, not really into the whole "social networking" thing. Only got Twitter so I could get updates on stuff I like, but I've tweeted a little, mostly about nothing. Doesn't really matter to me, if people want to see what I tweet they see it, if they don't they don't. Twitter just seems so much simpler than that other crap, to me at least.

I like that Twitter is less cluttered, It's all about just getting the message across and not can you feed my fish!! lol

I've started to like Twitter now that I've sorted it out, deleted a few followers and combined it with other things.
