The Joypads Podcast - organisation thread
Ohai guys!
So I just heard from Benny boi that Cory gave us the green light for the podcast.
The first things we need to sort out are;
1. Who's going to take part (and in what way)
2. Hosting
3. Basic structural plan for the podcast (number of people in it, length etc.)
So, I've already heard from a few people who say they're interested but just to confirm, shove a post on here please.
Once we have everyone, we can start with the planning. Should be fun!
Peace out.
love Conor x x x x x
(FYI, by doing this Im not appointing myself as the host or anything, thats yet to be decided)

Re: The Joypads Podcast - organisation thread
I can talk n stuff if you want. I am friends with people who run very successful podcasts (see CynicalBrit.com and vtwproductions.com) so I can ask them for help on recording the podcasts.
Hosting I suggest we stick em up on iTunes (not sure if that uploads it to the iTunes server or whether that just links to one of our own)
Numbers-wise 3 or 4 is an absolute maximum for people talking at any one time, and solo shows are hard to do unless you're very experienced, verbose, or have a bazillion tons of content.

With iTunes, you need to link them to an external host but iTunes is an absolute essential cos no one wants to download a podcast unless they can get it off iTunes for obvious reasons.
I was thinking the same, more than 4 would be chaos.

Trudat. Any more than 4 is manic.
I'd be very interested in giving it a whirl!

Re: The Joypads Podcast - organisation thread
I think we did a pretty good job in the past for four, because it was well organised, we all had a chance to speak and during the overlap into discussions, we did ok, we gave everyone a chance to speak. We also stuck to strict deadlines where we could, with a little overlap.
