God Of War thread: CONTAINS SPOILERS

Indeed, the spectacular finale against Kratos and Olympus is drawing. I will be using spoilers in this topic as I will be using the spoiler tags. So, click it if you wish. I just thought I would give you some detail into what God Of War is about.
God Of War 1:
A quick summary if you didn't click the spoiler tag.
Kratos seeks out to kill the God Of War (Ares). Whilst playing the game, you will get to know the background of Kratos more and why he is on this mission. Athena has promised Kratos, that if he slays the God Of War, she will cleanse his mind of his horrific memories.
God Of War II:
Quick summary of God Of War II.
Kratos is the new God Of War. The other gods haven't accept Kratos because of his past, and they are displeased by his current affairs. Zeus tricks Kratos as of using the Blade Of Olympus to drain his powers, and the warfare of Kratos between Olympus has just begun.
So, God Of War III carries on from God Of War II. Kratos has one goal and thats to destroy Olympus.
There is my God Of War geekiness shining through
God Of War 1:

- God Of War starts out as Kratos falls of a cliff falling into the Aegean Sea. The story begins, as Kratos was a Spartan captain who seeks out to kill Ares, the God Of War. The goddess Athena told Kratos that she will get rid of his horrific memories if he slays Ares who is attacking Athens. Zeus forbidden other gods to go at war against each other, so only a mortal can stop this monstrosity. The background of Kratos is carefully explained when you play throughout the game. It reveals that Kratos was a murdering servant to Ares, and when was given the Blades Of Chaos and still his horrific memories haunt him. Ares tricked him as Kratos killed his own family. Kratos renounced his services to Ares and seeks to destroy him. The Oracle told Kratos that he must seek out the Pandora's Box if he wants to kill Ares.

God Of War II:

- When Kratos defeated Ares, Kratos was the new God Of War. The other gods did not accept him because of his destruction he did when he was the Spartan captain and what he did to cities. Kratos is still haunted by his deeds whilst working for Ares. Kratos leads and aids his Spartan army to conquer Greece. The other gods aren't pleased with Kratos, so Athena pleads with Kratos to stop this as she cannot help him no more from the wrath of the gods. Kratos loses his power when Zeus aids Kratos with The Blade Of Olympus to slay with Giant metal statue. After Kratos destroys this giant. Zeus reveals that he was the eagle which drained Kratos powers. Zeus explains he betrayed Kratos to save himself and Olympus from the same fate that Ares would have done. Zeus gives Kratos one chance to redeem himself of being a god, and serve underhim. Kratos rejects Zeus's offer and he sticks the Blade Of Olympus into Kratos. Kratos is saved by Gaia when Kratos was going down into the Underworld. Gaia is the mother of the titans, who offers Kratos alliance. Kratos seeks out the other titans to over-thrown Zeus as the ruler of Olympus.
