After I have the venue, the rest isn't too difficult.

Well I hope it works out. I wish I could attend but unfortunately I do not have the cash and I would need to be hosted...yes i'm a bit pain in the arse

Not to bothered about MW2, I've stopped playing it as well. I'm not the biggest FPS fan around

It's not just ME, it's pretty much every western RPG out there. They bore me...

I do like my FPS games but at the moment I haven't played a FPS game for a while. Action/adventure/hack & slash for me this year to be honest.

How is everyone?

To be honest, I hated Mass Effect 1, I don't know why, It just didn't grab me.

Mass Effect 2 however has grabbed me too much lol

Indeed. When it comes to RPGs, the west just doesn't have the certain feel I want. Sure, JRPGs do have their typical tendancies, but they tend to be much quirkier.

Granted, this is an opinion. I may be missing some really quirky western RPGs (none come to mind, but I'm not dismissing their existance).

The only problem with JRPGs is that there mostly the same. Same as the west to be honest, but the west RPGs have more appeal to me than JRPGs. I do play JRPGs such as; FF, The Last Remnant, Blue Dragon and couple more. I do have interest in White Knight Chronicles and Star Ocean. Though I would rather play Fallout, Oblivion, Mass Effect, Dragon Age to be honest. My cup of tea that

I never really played many WRPG's but JRPG's aren't all that great to me either with the effeminate crap it's always putting out.

Not great examples really, The Last Remnant and Blue Dragon aren't particularly outstanding JRPGs. White Knight Chronicles is also a very wary game, as it's bordering between good and bad.

My preferred JRPGs are probably Persona, Ar Tonelico and anything Vanillaware make XD
They are definately not typical JRPGs. Persona is so damn peculiar it's amazing, Ar Tonelico has one of the most unique systems I've ever seen and Vanillaware, well, Odin Sphere and Muramasa pop to mind (the latter being a tad more action based though).

I'm in the cba mood to play anything at the moment. Played some Darksiders and Bioshock 2 earlier. When I have these two lovely jubblys finished. I will go out and buy Heavy Rain or Tekken 6. I will be getting GOW3 on launch day

European release dates:

Super Mario Galaxy 2 to be released 11th June
Metroid: Other M has no set date, but will release Q3 of 2010

That's a pretty long time from the actual June date giving to USA. Q3 would be July/August/September. I'd hope it wouldn't be anymore than a month.

I wasn't best pleased about it myself...At this rate, Australia gets the game before Europe. Which means I either import or I get Ian >_>

Depending on the situation, I may or may not import.

If it's out in July, I won't bother importing as I already have a pre-order. However, if it decides to come later I may as well import. HOWEVER, if it comes out around September I could get it with birthday funds...
