Well my 14 year old nephew was taken into hospital last night with a suspected Appendicitis, we found out this morning he may have Bowel disease. He's been taken home now, but they need to run more tests. So you'll just have to excuse me if i'm not too chatty online, if i'm here at all.

If it's like what I had they'll pump him full of liquid paracetemol equivalent in strength to morphine, take some bloods, put him on a drip and not much else. My drip kept getting blocked up though, and they had to flush it with a syringe of saline or something. That was possibly the worst thing. It felt dreadful having all that going straight into my vein. Horrible feeeling.

Ugh that doesn't sound good at all. Hope he's ok tonight...otherwise he'll be back in.

Frankly, it was a bugger to sleep with that needle in my arm. I like to lie with my hand under the pillow when I sleep, which inevitably lead to said needle causing some irritation.

How I've managed to go through my entire life without having to deal with close friends or family being hospitalised -ever- is something rather odd, don't you think?

There's only been one instance someone I cared for was admitted to hospital. They spent 8 hours in there, and were back out before I even knew they went in.

Also, I don't consider my predicament a good thing. For when it does come to a time when something like this finally happens, I'm pretty sure I'll hate it.

May I just say; it pisses me off entirely when a website you're trying to sign up to has "City" as a mandatory field. NOT EVERYONE LIVES IN A CITY! It's such a stupidly pathetic oversight that persists across so many websites.

Nae much. Saw Alice in Wonderland today. Twas good. So long as you don't ride the hype train you'll likely enjoy it.

Sounds like a film I'll enjoy then I'm not a major fan of the hype the film got, mainly because Johnny Depp was practically the only thing advertised about it for a whole year. Don't get me wrong, I like Johnny Depp, but it's got some other amazing people in it too.

Stephen Fry as the Cheshire Cat, nuff said.

Yeah, don't follow the hype at all, otherwise you will not like it at all. Ignore everything you've seen or heard of for the last year and you'll find enjoyment out of it.

One other thing about the movie, spoon.

Stephen Fry is amazing, therefore I shall watch the film. The Cheshire Cat is also my favourite Alice in Wonderland character, so it's equally as amazing.

I hated the film's hype.
