That's gotta be either a last stage of an evolution or not one what so ever. I like the fact that it's a wolf like pokemon.

Any ideas on what it could be? An evolution of Linoone perhaps?

I think it's a werewolf. And when it evolves, it turns back into a person and he beats the dog shit out of you for keeping him in a tiny plastic ball and forcing him to fight other monsters.

The Linoone pic you've got there does look somewhat similar to the mystery Pokeman. Sure, why not?

I have no idea if it could be an evolution of a previous pokemon or not, it could be something completely new. What if it's one of the 5th gen starters final forms?

I still remain firmly rooted in 1st gen Pokémon. You won't see me playing all these fancypants newfangled versions.

I myself doubt that it's either a Linoone evolution or the final stage of a starter Pokemon. The final stage starter Pokemon is never revealed until later on, and I doubt Linoone will get an evolution. I don't know why, I just don't imagine it. I think it's gonna be a Pokemon unrelated to any other. I hope people learn from Lucario that a Pokemon getting a big role in a movie does not make it legendary.

Looks a bit too fanartish for me. I think the actual design will be darker-looking to fit in wtih its supposed role in the film.

Doesn't look HARD enough to placate my vision of the silhouette. But then, I don't think Pokémon in general look balls hard enough.

I reckon this new pokemon will be fire type, Ignoring the fan art, When I say it I instantly though of Ninetail, no idea why.

I'm guessing it would be a dark type Pokemon. Probably a head Pokemon from the leader of the Team Rocket, Galatic wanna-be.

Defo, looks like a dark type pokemon. Probably two verisons of the Pokemon? Legendary? I doubt it, but its the thought that counts...

It's most likely not. It's probably a Lucario-like Pokemon where it has a pre-evolution but stars in a movie. They probably showed us the pre-evo because of all the Lucario debate. Also, only one legendary Pokemon has had a relation - Manaphy, with Phione. Although that gives a possibility, Phione could be one-off.
