Dragon Age II
The latest installment in the rather new Dragon Age franchise is scheduled to be released in March 2011, who's interested? Because I sure as hell am
I've completed Origins 4 times now, twice on the PC and twice on the 360 (Which is much better than my expectations led me to believe), as well as recently completing Awakenings and a lot of the massive load of DLC available for it, for the first time recently, and I'll be getting Witch Hunt next week.
Bioware put a lot of effort into their games, and it really does show, rarely a bad game comes out of their studios. Baldurs Gate II, Mass Effect 1 and 2 and of course Knights of the Old Republic, and Dragon are all top-selling high scoring games, giving you no good reason to not get Dragon Age II as it comes out on 3 platforms (360, PS3 and PC).
Dragon Age II chucks you into the shoes of Hawke, this time you're limited to being a human, but we've been assured the decision is to give Hawke more of a specialised character than a boring generic one which is often a problem when you're giving a billion customisation choices in the creation, but there's still plenty of customising to do in the 2nd installment, as you can still chose Gender, Class, Alignment ect. As well as the character, Dragon Age II has had a very nice (imo) graphics overhaul from what we've seen, going for what appears to be a slightly cel-shaded approach. Bioware describes it as 'The Dragon Age Graphics' basically, they want the game to be instantly recognised as Dragon Age. Rather than the brown enemies on a brown ground with a brown surroundings game that a lot of Origins suffered from.
There's a lot more to discuss regarding it, but I'll leave it for now I'll just leave you with a trailer!

Re: Dragon Age II
Really liked Origins completed several times on the PS3. Shall be getting 360 version of Dragon Age II instead though. Not played any of the DLC. Only Stone Prisoner DLC which came with the collectors edition of the game, plus a few items and the blood dragon armour which you can have and be unlocked in ME2 if you had the 360 version of Origins.
Hmmm that has brought something to my attention. I doubt it will work, but with ME2 coming to the PS3 in January, I wonder if the blood dragon armour can be imported over to ME2? Didn't think of that till now.

Re: Dragon Age II
Actually, in theory that could work Scott. On the 360, if ME2 detects the Blood Dragon File for Dragon Age, it will unlock. The same code can be applied to the PS3 version

I hope so. Will mean me buying ME2 again for the PS3 lol.
Re: Dragon Age II
I haven't played the original. I saw this video on a GamesCom live stream and I was like WANT WANT WANT. I can find the original Dragon Age for really cheap, so if I get the money and if I get my other games first (e.g. Last Window, DKCR Layton), I'll get this and the original.
