Games you love which most others seem to hate

Is there a special place in your heart for games that did badly? Do you not see why others hate a game you love? Will I stop typing these questions and click 'Send?'

Anyway, yeah, is there a game you love which others just detest?

I'll start us off with Sonic R. It has awful graphics and controls are poor, amongst other faults. However, I love this game. I used to spend hours a day playing these levels over and over. You weren't confined to a track, so you could go anywhere you wanted. This also meant multiple different paths. For instance, in one level, you could ignore the path and run over a pool of water to reach the inside of some ruins, where there were two paths, one leading to an emblem, another leading to near the finish line. Speaking of which, emblems were fun. My memory's a bit foggy, but if all of these were gathered in one level, you could race a new character and try to unlock them, such as Metal Sonic or Robo Egg. The music was lyrical but it stuck in your head, with songs such as Can You Feel The Sunshine. One of the songs was even in Brawl. Also, TAILS DOLL. O_O

There the only two games I can think of at the top of my head. Supercar Challenge isn't that bad at all and I reviewed it on GAME.co.uk and won a free game

I love them, but everyone tars them under the same 3d Sonic brush.

Since when was Vietiful Joe considered hated? Didn't it get massive critical praise?

I personally don't really know if I like any games that most people hate... Most of the games I play, even the obscure ones, have a strong fanbase or have been rated fairly well.

I actually can't name any games that I like that may be hated. Star Fox Adventures FEELS like it's hated but I think it just has mixed reviews.

I like both Saints Row games, they are both fairly rounded upon by hardcore GTA fans, but I do feel they offer a fun alternative

I like Shaodw the hedgehog.
