That is all.
Fat man has no idea, only where his next meal is coming from.
Nothing confirmed yet, don't listen to anyone or anything else.
Re: Xbox 360 'Slim' coming?
Yeah, I understand where you're coming from.
I mean now personally, I think it WILL come out with Natal aswell, just because it's the perfect time, and they've taken long enough already >_>

Looks like I owe Owen a PS3!
Oh and the "Current" 360's are now not going to be produced.
Slims from now on baby!

Re: Xbox 360 'Slim' coming?
See, because I'm a savvy consumer (Read as tight walleted, cash hoarding, cheap consumer) I certainly would have been able to wait the time until E3 knowing that at the least there was a 50% chance that an upgraded console would be announced. I don't know your motivations for taking the plunge when you did, everyone is different, but I know that if I were in your position I'd be rather put out. The closest I can place myself to that situation was when I got my own 360, and very soon after, 60GB hard drive units were announced.
That gives me pause for thought. I shall now list all the hardware iterations in this console generation in chronological order for each manufacturer.
Xbox 360 Core
Xbox 360 Pro 20GB
Xbox 360 Elite
Xbox 360 Arcade + 256mb Memory Unit

Xbox 360 Arcade 512mb onboard storage

PS3 Slim 250GB 2xUSB, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi
Wii White
Wii Black.
Microsoft and Sony have the Apple bug (refresh your hardwhere as fast as you possibly can so interest remains fresh and there's always the possibility you add something that those who wouldn't have purchased otherwise will like) It's a perfectly acceptable strategy, all be it irksome for consumers who buy the previous iteration (a' la Darren), but it just doesn't work as well as they'd like due to other aspects of the marketing.
