Super Street Fighter IV

The next edition of Street Fighter IV comes out in April, and so far it's looking sweet!

By the looks of things, Cammy, Guile and Chun-li play a major part in the story this time round, with the dolls from Street Fighter Alpha at the least making an appearance. This much is confirmed by the recent Gonzo animated trailer (The people who've made Speed Grapher, Afro Samurai and even the animated cutscenes in BlazBlue!).

By the looks of things, another special edition with an OVA is going to be released, so keep a look out!

Note that this is coming from a hardcore SNK player XD

SNK fighters have STUPIDLY cheap bosses.

Also, for those who found Seth annoying (or who didn't exploit his patterns), he's even cheaper in SSFIV.

No I'm sorry, it's not Stupidly cheap, it's over challenging and I love it, I can beat em, it's fun, I really love SNK, it's just Street Fighter bosses are a whole other thing.

Not that I'm a great expert at SNK fighters. I tried KoFXII and promptly gave up on it. I've heard from others though that the bosses are hard though.

you must mean KOF XI, KOF XII had no boss, but KOF XII itself is on arcade mode about 5 rounds, it's a fighter for a certain type I assume.

Magaki, KOF XI's overpowered boss, cheapest biatch ever, but I got a hang of him, now I'm the boss,lol, but I feel your pain, he really IS cheap!

I generally meant I didn't like it, the engine felt sloppy to me.

What are everyone's opinions of the announced characters so far? What do you want to see from the missing characters on the to-be-announced list?

I'll probably pick this up when it comes out!

I've not really been one for the Street Fighter series but I have played a few rounds on SSF2THDR Demo XD

How can you not get into one of the biggest arcade splashes ever?

I already have SFIV and KZ, we need a fight. You will beat me but its the taking part that counts

I will be getting SSFIV as shopto.net has it on a cheap price so I recommend a pre-order right this second!

T.Hawk, Dee-Jay are in SSFIV which are two of my favourites. I do hope T.Hawk isn't over-power as Sagat!

I'll probably change my pre-order if they make another special edition. Gonzo actually IS making an OVA based on the game, chances are a seperate release will be made that includes it.

Literally got pasted against Vexan yetersday. Took the defeats on the chin, but I didn't do too bad with Gin against Sakura at the start! I really need to play SFIV more and get better.

I do have a question throw to you Vexan or KZ. Do you mind helping me get the online trophies?

I don't mind, I'm not a huge trophy collector though.
