Metroid: Other M

He's been dubbed Mysterious Black Dude, quite literally. Nintendo won't give a name, so thats our name for him. He's become something of a meme now...even Flandre Scarlet's music has a remix of him...

Obviously he's Reggie's evil twin brother. You know; the one who kicks just as much ass, but dishes out the names. He called Mother Brain a rude variation on N00B once. Fact.

This seems so far-fetched from anything it's just ridiculous.

MBD. He's not usually called "mysterious dude, black" though that is the much more awesome version.

So what do we know so far? The things I remember hearing in interviews and seeing in the trailer are that it's set between Super and Fusion, it features flashbacks/recaps (Mother Brain vs. Infant Metroid), Adam Malkovich is in it, there's a scene with Samus as a child (presumably that's Samus, it was shown in a Samus-oriented sequence), there are scenes with Samus presumably still in the Federation... what am I missing, guys?

Actually, Martyn was advertently referring to the Metroid Database with his post, being the huge Metroid fan he is and all. (Total straight face right there).

You're not really missing anything. Nintendo are being their usual coy selves about anything to do with the game, so we're left with next to no information and a world of speculation. Being that this is Nintendo, and they've been announcing launch dates so close to the actual launch date of late, they could announce the launch tomorrow, and the game could be out on Friday.

Well, I'll probably be asleep during the event because of this damn insomnia or whatever it is. So if it's awesome/big news, I'll probably get on the forums and go "HOLY CRAP WHAT THE HELL" because there will be twenty unread pages here.
