Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
Yeah, Paper Mario's a brand new game, definetely. In fact, there only seems to be a few remakes/ports on the 3DS.
Starfox 64 3D
Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
A Boy and His Blob
de Blob: The Underground.

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
My mistake on the Paper Mario game - I should research this more deeply . However, the news of a completely new Paper Mario game has given me something else to look forward to. I can't wait to see how they use the unique style of the series in actual 3D.

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
I'd personally love a Christmas release but I imagine it'd be released around the same time period as the DS was in Europe. If it were released before Christmas worldwide though, that'd be great.

Bunch a stuff here
http://www.computerandvideogames.com/
Conversion on price should be £188 so a probable March release of £200 with any luck, just around the time of my birthday
Defo going to get SSFIV, it looks the nuts

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
March works for me just fine, I already have the money put aside for it. Kid Icarus, Lylat Wars, Ocarina of Time, Links Awakening (VC) are my current 4 biggest wants. Just, awesome though.
Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
Let's see...
Metal Gear Solid 3D
Animal Crossing
Resident Evil Revelations
Kingdom Hearts
Mega Man Legends 3
Proposed GB remakes
Yeah, looking good. Oh yeah, I'm not looking forward to OoT just to let you know. I have my flameshield prepared...

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
I'm mega happy that this is getting a March release. Its what I wanted, and if you were in the skype chat then you would know lol. OoT looks very lush in the images I have seen recently, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this lovely gem of a handheld console. I'm getting the impression that the games for the 3DS should of been some for the Wii when that first come out. Like, Kid Icarus for one.
I would love a Donkey Kong game on the 3DS and of course F-Zero!

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
I agree that OoT and Kid Icarus look quite good. I'm wondering what our release games are going to be.

Next March: plenty of time to save up . By the way, what's $250 in English Pounds?

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
Approximately £160, whilst 25,000 Yen is approximately £190. But, The Wii retailed at 25,000 Yen in Japan on release and it was £180 here.
Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
OK then 3DS wishlist, I'll start here, if anyone wants to start a seperate thread feel free to do so
Smash Bros, Brawl or Melee.
Super Mario Sunshine or a Mario Galaxy port or sequel to either.
Eledees with augmented reality so that they hide behind your own furniture,
Excite Truck sequel.
Mario Strikers Charged, port or sequel

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
I disagree with most of that list. Less remakes/ports, more original games.

True...
Myself, I'd like to see the 3DS promote some lesser-known franchises.

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
So a Zelda RPG?
*Looks at Zelda II*
We have that already, wasn't that great.
Do clarify what you mean though, I can't quite gather what you're trying to get across here...

Re: The Nintendo 3DS!
I may have gotten this completely wrong, but do you mean a Mario game with Zelda-style game-play, much in the same way the biblical-post-apocalyptic Darksiders is Zelda-esque? Sorry to be nick-picky, but Zelda games are more action/adventure than RPG
On the other hand, a Mario game with game-play elements similar to Zelda could be bloody brilliant.

Well I've always seen Zelda described as RPG lol.
So as Ashworthy says, a Mario game with game-play elements similar to Zelda

I can't see that happening, nor can I even imagine it...
